Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, Hank Baskett, appear to be keen on rebuilding their marriage. According to a report from Shows.tv, the reality star also recently explained why she allowed their reality show, "Kendra on Top," to show the huge cheating scandal that almost tore their family apart.
The former Playboy Playmate was close to calling it quits with the professional football player and father of her two children last year. Their reality show documented how rumors started circulating that Kendra Wilkinson's husband cheated on her with a London-based transsexual model.
The NFL star's alleged mistress, Ava London, even revealed details of their alleged affair, which supposedly took place when Kendra Wilkinson was eight months pregnant with their second child.
"Kendra on Top" did not hold back as it showed how the mother-of-two discovered the rumored affair, dealt with the heartbreak, and threw her spouse out of their marital house.
At present, Kendra Wilkinson and her husband are working things out for the sake of their five-year-old son Hank Jr and nine-month-old daughter Alijah.
The former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner explained why she allowed the whole fiasco to play out on national television.
"Here's the thing: In a way in some weird way I was almost forced by the press to put all this mess out there," Kendra Wilkinson said.
"I was not going to sit back and let the media and the press talk about what I'm going through and what my husband is going through."
"I felt like I deserved my voice and my story to be out there, rather than someone else's voice," she pointed out.
Kendra Wilkinson added how she wanted her reality show to be as real as possible, even if it meant letting the public see her vulnerable side.
"I would never let anyone tell me what to say and what is shown on my TV show," she said.
"It's 100% organic and honest, and what you see is exactly my story."
