Nina Dobrev And Ian Somerhalder Split: ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Actress Wants To Quit From Show Due To Ex-Boyfriend And Fiancé’ Nikki Reed’s PDA? Engaged Couple Says They Don’t Fight At All!

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split happened two years ago but it seemed like "The Vampire Diaries" actress has not moved on yet from their break-up. Rumors have it that the star is considering quitting the hit vampire show as she is not comfortable with her ex beau and his fiancé Nikki Reed's PDA on their set.

In a report by the International Business Times, "The Roommate" actress reportedly expressed her desire to quit the CW series show after there were reports that Nina Dobrev is once again irked by their incessant PDA.

The report also said that after Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split in the middle of 2013, they still became close friends until "The Vampire Diaries" actor began dating "Twilight" star Nikki Reed.

A report revealed that the 26-year-old "Twilight" star even moved to Georgia so she could be at the set of the show every day.

"Nina Dobrev is still technically contracted to at least a few more seasons of the Vampire Diaries [including this one], but we already know she's planning on quitting soon to escape the stigma of Ian Somerhalder's association [and Nikki Reed]. But she's playing it safe and waiting until she lands a franchise first," a Celeb Dirty Laundry  said.

While "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" star seemed to have a hard time moving on from the issue about Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder split, "The Anomaly" actor is enjoying the company of his fiancé.

Recently, Ian Somerhalder was interviewed at the 2015 Novel Awards and he gushed over Nikki Reed, whom he proposed to early in January, Us Weekly said in a report.

When asked if they are fighting at all, he answered, "Nothing, really."

He even added, "I know it sounds stupid."

But the actress quipped, "He thinks his eyes are ocean blue and I think they're aqua."
