'Cheongdamdong Alice' Moon Geun Young's Fluent French, What is Her Secret?

The first episode of SBS weekend drama "Cheongdamdong Alice," Se Kyung (Moon Geun Young) says a phrase in French. She is shown as a girl who has stellar grades and very good French skills despite coming from a poor family.

In the episode, Se Kyung is interviewing for a position in a fashion company and when asked to speak in French, she does so. What is her secret?

Moon Geun Young said, "I don't speak French at all. I know it became a big issue to talk about but I just did it like I was memorizing a song. I listened to Ida Daussey say the phrase and memorized it as best I could. I got a lot of compliments but I still have a long way to go."

Ida Daussey said, "I sent it to her 2 weeks ago but she got it down really fast. She could definitely get around in France with this pronunciation."
