Ciara Speaks Up After Concert Disaster At NZ; ‘Body Party’ Singer Focuses On Fans, Son, And New Album

R&B diva Ciara has spoken up after her concert disaster at NZ. According to a report from News.com.au, the "Body Party" singer is focusing on her fans, son and new album.

An earlier report from New York Daily News detailed how around 1,500 attendees of Ciara's concert in Christchurch, NZ waited two hours for the Grammy-winning singer. The fans were outraged after the concert ended after just 10 minutes.

The disastrous Christchurch leg prompted concert organizers to cancel Ciara's next concert in Auckland, also in NZ. According to a report from The New Zealand Herald, the March 3 show was cancelled as a dispute ensued between Ciara's US booking agent and organizers from New Zealand.

Amid all the controversies surrounding Ciara's concert tour in NZ, the 29-year-old stayed positive following a successful Marquee club show in Sydney last weekend.

"Cyclones and craziness but everything is good now," Ciara said, reported by News.com.au.

"My fans have been showing me in so many ways that they are with me ... they've got me."

"Coming here was about feeling that good love and energy because it's been so long," the singer added.

Ciara also seemed to be in high spirits, appearing to have moved on from her split with fiancé and baby daddy Future. The two broke up following allegations that Future cheated on Ciara with several women.

"I think happiness starts with you and you can conquer anything, change the energy of your universe by expressing happiness," she explained.

"I feel pretty darn good," Ciara added.

She and the "Just Like Bruddas" rapper share a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, who will turn one year old in a few months.

Aside from Ciara's concert woes in NZ and how she is staying positive, News.com.au also reported about the singer's upcoming new album, "Jackie."

Named after her mother, Ciara's new album reportedly features tracks that showcase the songstress' vocal power, instead of her usual sexy style.

Songs in Ciara's new album include a Diane Warren collaboration entitled "I Got You" and a tribute to her son called "Hush Little Baby".
