'Body Party' Singer Ciara Joins Cast Of New NBC Show; Stays Busy Amid Rumors Ex Fiance Future Openly Dating Tinashe
"Body Party" singer Ciara will be joining the cast of a new NBC variety show entitled "I Can Do That". The news was reported by The Source, and somewhat shows how the single mom is keeping herself busy amid rumors that her ex-fiance, Future, is now openly dating Tinashe.
The R&B newcomer is alleged third party in their failed relationship.
Ciara, whose hits "Body Party" and "My Goodies" have earned her a Grammy award and several nominations, announced last week that she will be part of "I Can Do That".
"Sooooooo excited being on @NBC's new show #ICanDoThat!! It's going to be so much fun!! Can't waaaiit," she tweeted.
The show "I Can Do That" will be hosted by Marlon Wayans and will have the songstress star alongside pop star Joe Jonas, Pussy Cat Dolls' lead singer Nicole Scherzinger, "Dancing With the Stars" alum Cheryl Burke and other personalities. The show will air on NBC this summer.
Ciara's role in the said variety show is expected to keep her busy, as she is also working on new music, appearing in several events, and raising her nine-month-old son, Future Wilburn Zahir. The child is the diva's baby with former fiancé, Future.
Ciara's music video for her hit song "Body Party" even featured the rapper, way before he was accused of cheating on her.
At present, the former couple are reportedly trying to stay civil for the sake of their son. The first-time mom has also not commented about how Future is rumored to be openly dating R&B newcomer Tinashe, who was allegedly the rapper's side chick while he and Ciara were still together.
According to a report from HipHollywood, an eyewitness claimed to have seen the "2 On" singer with the "Just Like Bruddas" rapper on a shopping trip at Beverly Hills.
"She was following him around," the source said.
"I didn't see any physical contact, but come on, you know what's up?"
The rumored couple were reportedly seen at a Nike store and was accompanied by another female companion.
