The news about the supposed Rihanna Leonardo DiCaprio romantic relationship is apparently false.

This is after a recent statement was released and made public by Leo's PR agency.

"[Leo] is single and has been for some time," the representative said, as reported by Perez Hilton.

They also added that Leo has been busy with his recent projects, particularly his participation in Alejandro Inarritu's latest drama/adventure film titled, "The Revenant."

As previously reported, the Rihanna Leonardo DiCaprio rumored relationship began last year to early this year, when both of them celebrated New Year's at St. Barts. Although the two were not spotted together at that time, they were allegedly in the same club.

ELLE has published a list of the events that happened between the previously rumored couple. This series of events caused the public to speculate about an alleged relationship between the two.

• Following the New Year's eve celebration at St. Barts, Rihanna and Leo were seen chatting it up ten days after, during the Golden Globes party thrown by Playboy's Hugh Hefner at his famous mansion. Witnesses claim to have spotted the two celebrities kissing and sharing drinks together.
• During Jan. 21, 11 days after the Playboy party, reports about Rihanna's feelings towards the actor were released, According to Hollywood Life, the "Diamonds" singer was so overly smitten by the 40-year-old that she plans on introducing him to her family in Barbados.
• Feb. 14 came along, and the two reportedly spent it together. According to Us Weekly, the rumored couple went to New York to go clubbing, and ended the rumored date at a secret Paul McCartney concert.
• Six days after Valentine's day, Leo was allegedly spotted at Rihanna's birthday party, where the two were allegedly seen "kissing, touching and dancing with each other," as taken from E!,

Despite the fact that Leo's PR has already released a statement, fans still can't help but believe the Rihanna Leonardo DiCaprio dating rumors to be true.
