'Prometheus 2' Spoilers & News: Noomi Rapace's Dr Shaw To Die In Sequel?

Will Elizabeth Shaw die in "Prometheus 2?" That seems to be the direction if the spoilers and rumors are true.

In an article from Movie Pilot, it cited an alleged conversation between "Predators" director Nimrod Antal and Ridley Scott on the fate of Noomi Rapace's character and the androd David in their search for the Engineers.

"I have actually talked to Ridley (Scott) when we met in London three weeks ago for an interview I did with him," Antal reportedly said.

"Off the record he claimed that he was disappointed with the story of 'Prometheus' but when the company pitched the sequel he agreed."

According to the report, the "Prometheus 2" will not focus on the Engineers but instead will take place on earth.

"Characters from earth will be introduced as signals from the spaceship Noomi is on will prompt Wayland sponsored military to go after it before it reaches earth," Antal added.

"Noomi's character will die in the middle, but a woman hero (military) will take her place. We will not see the engineers planet until the third installment known as Paradise. The second is known under it's working name as 'Prometheus: Hell on Earth.'"

But Movie Pilot cautioned about believing the "Prometheus 2" spoilers right away because the main motivation of the first film was for Elizabeth Shaw to seek answers from the Engineers "so earth doesn't really seem logical."

Ridley Scott previously teased "Prometheus 2" spoilers to MTV when he said that David will get back his head with the help of Elizabeth Shaw.

When he was asked whether the sequel will still revolve around Elizabeth Shaw and David, Ridley Scott said, "You have to. You can't have a person go off into the galaxy and have a person who still got his head off."

"Once that head goes back on, [David] is really dangerous," said Scott, when asked for details about Prometheus 2's plot, "but he's also very seductive. So maybe he'll persuade [Shaw] to help him put the head back."
