Twitter Goes On Overdrives As ' Frozen 2' Gets Confirmation; Actress Kristen Bell Witty In Sequel Confirmation

Kristen Bell just confirmed "Frozen 2" on social media which sent Twitterverse into frenzy.

In a Twitter photo, the 35-year-old actress can be seen sleeping on a bag of ice, seemingly dreaming about something. She wrote the caption, "Dreams really do come 2!!! #FROZEN2 #itsofficial."

Kristen Bell has a right to be wary since she knows that Disney has never made a sequel.

"That' the truth. Disney Pixar -- that entity -- has made a sequel. But Disney-Disney has never made a sequel. They wouldn't just make it haphazardly. They would wait until the right plotline showed itself," the actress told CBS.

Disney also said in a statement, "After months of speculation, Bob Iger, John Lasseter and actor Josh Gad (voice of Olaf) announced from the stage that Frozen 2 is officially in development at Walt Disney Animation Studios."

"The film will reunite the Oscar-winning filmmaking team behind Frozen, including director Chris Buck, director/writer Jennifer Lee and producer Peter Del Vecho. A release date and production details are yet to be announced."

For her part, Kristen Bell said that she would love to be in "Frozen 2," or succeeding sequels for that matter.

"I would play Anna forever if they would let me. Not only do I enjoy the character and how much people love her, but I enjoy the team -- the physical production team that I get to work with. They are all wonderful people...They're super talented and super kind," she said.

Kristen Bell also starred in the short "Frozen Fever" which will debut in the live action Disney film, "Cinderella." For the animated short, she will sing another song from Oscar-winning couple Robert and Kristen Anderson Lopez.

"They wrote music and we got to learn a new song...I have nothing even neutral to say about it. It was all wonderful," Kristen Bell said.

The predecessor of "Frozen 2" was the highest grossing animated film of all time by earning $1.2 billion, even surpassing Pixar's "Toy Story 3," which earned $1.063 at the box office.
