Zayn Malik’s Ex-Girlfriend Rebecca Ferguson Hopes 1D Member Is Excited To Get Married; Will She Write Tell-All Book About Their Romance?

Prior to Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards' engagement, the British crooner once made headlines for being in a relationship with Rebecca Ferguson. The pair fell in love after hitting it off on "X Factor" and their romance made news in 2011. In a recent interview, the 1D member's ex-girlfriend opened up about her former flame.

"I very much like to think 'live and let live' and I wish Zayn well. I hope he is happy. I am not one to look back on the past in a negative way. At one point it was really lovely being with him, so I wish him all the best," she said as reported by J-14.

While no official wedding date has been announced yet, Rebecca Ferguson wished Zayn Malik the best for his engagement to the "Little Mix" member.

As reported by Sugarscape, the ex-girlfriend of the singer said, "I hear he is engaged, so I hope he's looking forward to getting married. I'm so proud of One Direction, Zayn has done so well and they're all really loving life."

"They have Hollywood stars at their parties - when I saw the photos at Harry's 21st last month I was like 'wow, go Harry.' It's lovely to watch their success," she added.

Recently, reports have surfaced as well that Ferguson has plans of writing a tell-all book detailing her three-month relationship with the "You and I" hit maker. Nonetheless, she denied the rumors through her Twitter page.

"No story about Zayn, I respect him too much to be negative. If you don't like me, paint me whatever way you like with facts! That's showbiz," she wrote.

Zayn Malik's ex-girlfriend Rebecca Ferguson also claimed that she didn't want to speak of her past much because it might affect her children. Nonetheless, she's open to keeping a journal so that one day, her children will know what she went through.
