Harry Styles And Nathan Sykes Feud: The Wanted Crooner Talks About His ‘Rivalry’ With One Direction Member

Harry Styles and Nathan Sykes' feud allegedly intensified because the two belonged to two different boy bands. Nonetheless, the The Wanted singer reportedly reached out to the Oe Direction member during a night out in Los Angeles.

According to Ariana Grande's former boyfriend, it all started with the name-calling. At one point, Zayn Malik allegedly called Max George "Chlamydia Boy." Girlfriends of the The Wanted also joined the feud, which eventually triggered the outrage of fans.

Despite Harry Styles and Nathan Sykes' feud, the "Almost Is Never Enough" crooner told MTV UK that he already patched things up with the 1D crooner.

"I was out with Harry in LA recently. We were both a bit merry, but we had one hell of an embrace. I never had a problem with any of the 1D boys and never got involved with the Twitter fights, it wasn't me," he said.

"I think sometimes you can be a victim of hatred through association. I was like 'I didn't say anything!'"

Since members of The Wanted already parted ways, Nathan Sykes said that separation wouldn't be bad too for the members of One Direction.

"I think their last album sounded brilliant. But when you're a percentage of a group, you've also just got to give yourself some time where you can be 100% for yourself. You've got to do the stuff that you always wanted to do and have fun with it, rather than be 20% of a boyband," he explained.

It appears that Nathan Sykes is indeed enjoying his solo career. He is about to release his debut album which also featured a track about his breakup with Ariana Grande.

"The most emotional song is about me telling myself not to be angry at the breakup because sometimes things just don't work out. That's life," he told the Sun magazine.

But he told the magazine that the song wouldn't speak ill of Big Sean's girlfriend, "It's important not to be selfish with writing so there's no detailed version of events. And there's no bad blood. She's a lovely girl."
