Shailene Woodley And Ansel Elgort: ‘Insurgent Actor Reveals Real Deal Between Him And Theo James’ Leading Lady

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort might have stellar performances as lovers in "The Fault in Our Stars" but in real-life, the New York-born actor only sees Theo James' leading lady as a friend.

Apart from starring in the film adaptation of John Green's bestselling novel, the two also play siblings Caleb and Tris in "Insurgent." Despite their closeness, Ansel Elgort clarified his relationship with Woodley.

"Me and Shailene have a really platonic relationship," he told Seventeen magazine. "I've never once wanted her sexually, which is nice."

Even if there's no romance between Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort, the 21-year-old actor is very much in love in real-life. Reports have surfaced that he reunited with his high school sweetheart Violetta Komyshan after they parted ways several months ago.

The young couple broke up because Ansel Elgort encountered difficulty in managing his schedule. But an Us Weekly insider claimed that he never dated anyone else during their breakup and that he missed Komyshan.

This reportedly prompted Ansel Elgort to ask his lady love for another chance.

In an interview with the same magazine, the "Insurgent" actor also talked about his ideal date, "I like romantic dates - going on a long walk in Central Park and then taking the subway downtown and going out to eat and ordering oysters. After that, you walk around again and talk. Morning dates are nice too."

For those wondering about his ideal girl, Ansel Elgort recently told Elle magazine, "I like strong women. Physical women. My dad photographed a lot of beautiful dancers."

"My mom was a dancer. I love when a girl is like, 'I can't hang out. I have to go to class.' And I go pick her up and she's all sweaty in a leotard with her hair in a bun," he continued. "That's the hottest thing ever."

It is quite clear that the "Divergent" actor is referring to Komyshan, who also happens to be a ballerina.
