Teen Mom Season 6 News Updates: Farrah Abraham almost didn't return Teen Mom season 5, Maci Bookout almost quit Teen Mom season 6 because the adult industry star was returning.

A preview for season five of Teen Mom showed the 23-year-old reality star her co-stars Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood in a preview for the show.

"It was a little bit awkward for me, and I tried to work with them the best that I could," Abraham told Us Weekly at the time. "I was just a little bit reluctant because of the progress I made while I was not on the show. I think it's good to be back for [daughter] Sophia's sake and showing how our lives are to help others."

Abraham was alienated after releasing a 2013 sex tape and taking a job as a stripper. Fans were shocked when Farrah Abraham signed on to return to MTV's Teen Mom for season 6.

"When I got the call to come back, it was a little bit awkward for me, and I tried to work with them the best that I could," Farrah Abraham told Us Weekly. "I was just a little bit reluctant because of the progress I made while I was not on the show. I think it's good to be back for Sophia's sake and showing how our lives are to help others. And that's why we're back."

Most people thought she left the show behind when she went into the adult film and erotic novel industry as well as "Couples Therapy" and "Botched."

Maci Bookout and Amber Portwood, Abraham's co-stars on "Teen Mom" took to Twitter to voice their opposition.

When Maci Bookout found out Abraham was back, she threatened to quit the show.

"I'm not going to lie and say I was happy about it. But, I mean, it's something that I guess people will just have to watch on the show. And it has nothing to personally do with Farrah at all. I have no hard feelings towards her whatsoever," Webpronews quoted Bookout as saying.

"Okay, my feelings have nothing to do with Farrah personally," Bookout said in an interview with Cosmopolitan. "It's not about her, it's more or less that I don't find it appropriate for my six-year-old son - who has to wake up and go to kindergarten the day after the show airs - to be on a show where they are at strip clubs or talking about porn. It's not about porn: If you want to do porn, go for it, I'm not going to judge you. It's based on the type of person you are, not what you decide to do as a career. But do I want my six-year-old son involved? No, I don't. You could be my best friend and be a porn star and I'm still not going to have my son involved in what you do."
