Brandon Auret Hates Die Antwoord; 'Chappie' Movie Cast Member Reveals He Doesn't 'Care Much For Him'

The latest news about the recently released film, "Chappie", is currently having fans rewatch the movie.

This is after Die Antwoord, who are both the stars in the film, has been dissed by another of the film's cast member, Brandon Auret.

The actor, who plays the drug lord Hippo, has recently gone on an interview with News24, where he revealed his true sentiments about the fellow cast members.

"I don't car much for him, I don't care much for his band, I don't care much for anything that he does," the 42-year-old actor said. "When somebody comes and feels that they have the right to tell you how to do your job, when they have no right to talk to me about acting."

His statement has led fans to assume that Ninja, a member of Die Antwoord, may have been directing Auret of what he should do for his role, or how he should act. Given the fact that Ninja has not had any major acting roles before "Chappie," fans say that Brandon would naturally be offended, as he felt offended to have someone inferior to him in terms of acting, try to tell him what he should do as an actor.

Despite his statement, Auret added in the interview that he is still choosing to view things positively, and is somehow thankful for the tension between them, which helped him deliver better as an actor by channeling his negative feelings into his role.

As previously reported, Die Antwoord is composed of singers/rappers Ninja and Yo-Landi Visser. Together, they portray the role of a druggie couple, responsible for training the robot Chappie, in hopes of using him to commit their crimes.

Other cast members included in the "Chappie" Movie, include Hugh Jackman as Vincent, Sharlto Copley as Chappie, Sigourney Weaver, Dev Patel as Deon, and Yo-Landi Visser, and Ninja as themselves. It is produced under Sony Pictures and is directed by Neil Blomkamp.
