‘Fashion Police’ News: Ex-Host Kathy Griffin Surprised At Public’s Reaction To Her Departure; E! Mum On Replacements

"Fashion Police" news reported how ex-host Kathy Griffin got surprised at the public's reaction to her departure. According to a report from Deadline.com, E! is also still mum on the possible replacements to join the hit fashion critique show.

The protégé of late comedy icon Joan Rivers said that she did not expect people to get into so much speculations after she quit the series.

"It just didn't work out. That's it. That's the scandal," Kathy Griffin told the audience at a recent show in Waterbury, Conneticut. The clip was shared by TMZ.

"I just am surprised that people are so invested in this show."

"But I shouldn't be (surprised), because (the late Joan Rivers) was so incredible and amazing... and it just wasn't the right thing for me," she added.

Prior to Kathy Griffin, former mainstay Kelly Osbourne also resigned from the "Fashion Police."

Very soon after the ex-hosts quit "Fashion Police," news reports quickly spread about their possible replacements. Some of the personalities rumored to be considered as new hosts include "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" cast member NeNe Leakes, "Glee" actress Naya Rivera, supermodel Chrissy Teigen and internet sensation Amber Rose.

However, as per "Fashion Police" news from Deadline.com, there are still no definite replacements for Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne.

"We can confirm that Kathy Griffin is leaving E!'s 'Fashion Police'... We wish her all the best and are grateful for her time on the show, as well as the many laughs that she gave us all," said a network rep.

"'Fashion Police' will return, as scheduled, on Monday, March 30 at 9pm with our talented Co-Hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski and Executive Producer Melissa Rivers."

"No further information is available at this time," the rep clarified amid speculations about the ex-hosts' replacements.
