Family Interventions Not Enough To Save Rob Kardashian From Troubles, Weight Gain? Kris Jenner's Only Boy 'In A Dark Place'

Rob Kardashian is allegedly in a "dark place" due to his continuing weight gain among other personal troubles, but Kris Jenner's only boy is reportedly shunning the rest of the family who's trying to reach out to help.

"Rob is in a dark place," Us Weekly reported.

Earlier, Rob Kardashian posted on Instagram a screen grab of Rosamund Pike dressed in bloody clothes. He captioned the image, "This is my sister Kim, the bitch from Gone Girl."

But Us Weekly claimed that the sock mogul uploaded the post after filming a scene with Kanye West's wife for an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"Kim told him he needs to get out of his funk," the source said.

"His post was about how she seems caring in public, but he feels ignored," another insider alleged.

Meanwhile, People said that the family has tried multiple interventions to get Rob Kardashian out of the weigh gain funk.

"He's sad, he's bitter, he's single. He is very depressed and has been [for a while]," the insider told the magazine. "It's really hard for him that his sisters are so public and he looks like the shut-in."

A member of the production for "KUWTK" also talked about Rob Kardashian's weight gain.

"The attitude has always been that when Rob gets his act together, starts working out and loses weight, everything will be good and he will be happy," said the source.

"But behind the weight gain is this very unhealthy mental state that he keeps struggling with."

So when the rest of the family suggested that Rob Kardashian seek therapy so he could hurdle the mental block to arrest his weight gain, the youngest Kardashian reportedly demurred.

"He is very against therapy and any kind of rehab," the insider told People "But his family will continue to push for him to get help until he does."
