Zayn Malik's Fiancee Influenced Him To Quit One Direction? Fans Broken Hearted As Perrie Edwards Vacations With Boyfriend

Zayn Malik's fiancé might have influenced him to quit One Direction, said a report from E!Online. With fans still broken hearted, Perrie Edwards and the ex-member of the boy band reportedly went on a vacation.

The 22-year-old recently announced his decision to leave the hit boy band that launched him into superstardom. He cited personal reasons, such as him needing time away from the limelight and wanting to live a normal, quiet life.

However, some speculate that Perrie Edwards might have convinced him to go solo.

The "Little Mix" member has long been rumored to be fighting with Zayn Malik prior to him leaving One Direction, and even "X-Factor" judge Louis Walsh has broken his silence about the issue.

"What I found in the past is as things get on, and as they get girlfriends, the girlfriends are whispering things in their ears and saying like, 'You should be a solo star,' 'You should be the lead singer,'" Louis Walsh explained.

"That's usually the problem."

While Zayn Malik's decision to leave One Direction is still being talked about, he and Perrie Edwards reportedly went on a vacation for some time off.

The blond singer uploaded an Instagram photo of her being kissed by Zayn Malik while on a beach outing. Another photo showed the heartthrob's fiancée on the balcony of a building.

Zayn Malik seemed happy in Perrie Edwards' Instagram photo, even as his departure from One Direction is expected to create a void in the band. The former five-man group which will now only consist of foursome Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan.

"The remaining members of One Direction have only performed a few concerts without Malik, so it's hard to determine if his subtraction from the group creates an imbalance in the harmonic attack," said The Guardian's Brad Nelson.

"But he leaves a void of personality, a void of vocal agility."

"Without him the group loses some of its distinctiveness and slowly morphs into four goofy white guys shouting," Brad Nelson added.
