Selena Gomez's boyfriend Zedd was rumored to have bought a promise ring for the "Behaving Badly" singer. The DJ and "Stay The Night" hit maker was also dubbed to be extra clingy to Justin Bieber's ex-girlfriend.

The 22-year-old singer and actress, who just came from a three year relationship with Justin Bieber, is now dating the German DJ.

But reports claim that Zedd is being extra clingy to the star that it even came to a point where he bought a promise ring for her, Celebrity Dirty Laundry said.

However, Zedd's close pals were able to save him from being embarrassed.

"Fortunately for Zedd, his friends were able to convince him to save himself the embarrassment and not give the ring to Selena," the report said.

The report added that Selena Gomez's boyfriend Zedd is afraid that he might lose Selena Gomez because their collaboration for the hit song "I Want You To Know" is now over.

Selena Gomez's boyfriend Zedd is also rumored to be threatened by the idea that the "Come & Get It" singer might find another man especially now that she's set to collaborate with folk singer Natt Wolff.

Meanwhile, it seems like the "Spectrum" producer has more to be jealous about as Selena Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber revealed her influence to his new album.

The 21-year-old "Baby" hitmaker said that Selena Gomez was her inspiration in his album that was produced by Kanye West, The Daily Mail said in a report.

The singer said in an interview with Ryan Seacrest, "It was a long relationship that created heartbreak and created happiness and a lot of different emotions that I wanted to write about."

He added, "I just want to create the best piece of art that I can create, something that's really near and dear to my heart."

"I know there's a lot of stuff that I've been going through over the past few years. I just really want to bleed it on this record."
