There have been issues about Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger getting a divorce but recent reports reveal that the "Hello Kitty" singer's relationship with her husband is still intact. In fact, the Nickelback frontman was there to take care of her sick pop rock princess wife.

The 30-year-old "Happy Ending" hit maker was previously reported to be sick with Lyme disease along with rumors that Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger are having a divorce.

But the singer shunned the issue as she said that she is now 80 percent okay with the help of her mother and the Nickelback frontman.

According to a report from BBC UK, Chad Kroeger was there to nurse his rock star wife when she was bed ridden for months.

Chad Kroeger even went out of his way to visit Avril Lavigne during breaks of the Nickelback tour.

Meanwhile, the singer's mother also moved in to her place to take care of her.

As for the "Hello Kitty" singer's health condition, Avril Lavigne reportedly experienced difficulty in breathing, moving, and talking.

"I thought I was dying," the rock star told People in an interview.

The "Complicated" singer also added that having Lyme disease, which was spread by tick, made her feel complete weakness and fatigue for months, Hollywood Take said.

"There were definitely times I couldn't shower for a full week. It felt like having all your life sucked out of you."

The Lyme disease is reportedly most common in North America and Europe and can be attained in woodlands or in areas where there are animals.

It was late last year when Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger faced divorce rumors after they were seen in different outings without each other's company.

Speculations went on a high when Avril Lavigne stopped posting their photos in her social media account and when she uploaded a picture without her wedding ring on.
