Tommy Lee Jones Holds Fire Sale For Luxury Florida Ranch; 'Men In Black' Actor Brings Selling Price Down By 25 Percent
Tommy Lee Jones is reportedly holding a fire sale for his luxury Florida ranch. According to a report from TMZ, the "Men In Black" actor has bought the selling price down by 25 percent.
The property of Tommy Lee Jones that is on fire sale is located in San Saba Polo Ranch. It is situated on 55 acres of land and boasts of 48 horse stalls, an exercise track, and a regulation size polo field complete with an underground irrigation system.
The ranch's other luxurious features include a lake, waterfall, and nature preserve.
The main house that is part of Tommy Lee Jones' fire sale contains four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The property was reportedly bought by the veteran actor in 2002 for $2.95 million. Tommy Lee Jones initially tried to sell the house in 2011 for $26.75 million. However, he recently decided to bring the price to under $20 million to gather more interested buyers.
Prior to news about Tommy Lee Jones' fire sale, the movie star last made big news after the revelations made by his former co-star, Jim Carrey.
According to a report from Us Magazine, the comedian revealed during an interview with Howard Stern that he and Tommy Lee Jones never got along.
"When you were doing Batman Forever, when you were making that, the legend goes that you were on the set fighting with this guy Tommy Lee Jones the whole time," Howard Stern began.
Jim Carrey then went on to narrate how the seasoned actor told him off back when they were filming "Batman."
"I walked into a restaurant the night before our big scene in the Riddler's lair and the maitre'd said, 'You're working with Tommy Lee Jones, aren't you?' And I said 'Yeah, I am.' He said, 'He's in the back corner, he's having dinner.' I said, 'Oh, great, I'll go say hi.'" Jim Carrey recalled.
"I went up to say hi and the blood drained from his face, in such a way that I realized that I had become the face of his pain or something. He got up, kind of shaking, and hugged me and said 'I hate you. I really don't like you.'"
"I was like 'Wow, okay. Well, what's going on man?' And he said, 'I cannot sanction your buffoonery.' He did not want to work with me at that point," Jim Carrey revealed.
