Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert Prove Marriage Still Solid Despite Divorce Rumors; 'The Voice' Coach, Wife Finalists For 2015 Billboard Music Awards

Divorce rumors have been hounding Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert but the couple has time and again proved that their marriage is still strong.

Meanwhile, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert also proved that they are still country music's biggest stars as they each were nominated in major categories for the Billboard Music Awards.

"The Voice" judge was nominated for Top Country Artist along with Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Brantley Gilbert, according to Country Weekly magazine.

Miranda Lambert's "Platinum" production was included in the shortlist for Best Country Alum, along with Jason Aldean's " Old Boots, New Dirt," Garth Brooks' "Man Against Machine," Luke Bryan's "Crash My Party," and Brantley Gilbert's "Just as I Am."

Late last month, Miranda Lambert shared a selfie on Instagram where she's seen kissing husband Blake Shelton while showing their support for Little Big Town, whose song "Girl Crush" has generated a bit of controversy for reportedly depicting lesbian love.

The country singer captioned the photo, "We love @littlebigtown #girlcrush."

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton debunked the divorce rumors with the kiss and matching hats that read, "Girl Crush."

"Lambert's back is to the camera, but that doesn't hide the fact that she's planting a big ole kiss on her hubby," Taste of Country reported. "Since Shelton is so much taller than his wife, his eyes are visible above her head, and he's looking right into the camera."

While Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton have defied the divorce rumors hounding their marriage, the "Voice" judge certainly has no problem trumping his wife in the bragging rights department.

"Blake Shelton might have set a Country Thunder attendance record Saturday night - 27,500," Tucson reported. "That beat the 26,200 people who showed up on the Saturday night of last year's festival - headlined by Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert."

Tucson added that the count on the audience in Blake Shelton's performance is still "unofficial" and "frankly seemed a little low."

"There were people packed shoulder to shoulder from the stage to the midway point of the sprawling festival grounds," it added.
