Paul Walker Wanted A 'Fast And Furious 8' Movie As Vin Diesel Releases Statement!

"Furious 7" has been continuing to do well in the box office, with fans flocking in to see the last movie that the late actor Paul Walker has starred in.

But the franchise won't end with the passing of its main star. The next installment, "Fast and Furious 8" will be in the works, with no less than Vin Diesel saying that he intends to continue on in the franchise.

In an interview with MTV during the recently concluded MTV Movie Awards, Vin Diesel shared that his friend Paul himself was all for another "Fast and Furious" movie.

"Paul used to say that eight was guaranteed," Diesel shared. "And in some way, when your brother guarantees something, you sometimes feel like you have to make sure it comes to pass."

"So if fate has it, fate," the actor continued. "F8...if fate has it, then you'll get this when you hear about it."

"Seven was for Paul, eight is from Paul," he concluded.

Already, there are rumors that Kurt Russel's character in "Furious 7," Mr. Nobody, could return for the next movie, and may even become one of the mainstays of the franchise.

And because of the reappearance of the Lucas Black character (played by Sean Boswell) in "Furious 7," there are speculations that he could very well be in the eight and ninth installment of the franchise.

Meanwhile, "Furious 7" has been dominating the weekend box office, making over $60 million in America alone. Worldwide, the movie has grossed more than $800 million after only two weeks of screening. There are talks that the movie could hit the billionth mark with the way it is performing.

It has been known to the public that before the movie could finish filming last November of 2013, main actor Paul Walker died in what fans call a "horrific" car crash. The film's director had to rely on Paul's brother and on CGI in order to fill in the scenes that Paul was not able to finish.
