Taylor Swift's Boyfriend Calvin Harris Approved By Ed Sheeran; ‘He’s A Really Nice Guy,’ Says ‘Thinking Out Loud’ Crooner

aylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris appears to be in good terms with the blonde beauty's best guy pal, Ed Sheeran. While the "Blank Space" songstress is yet to confirm the romance, she has been snapped going on several dates with the DJ.

"[Harris] is cool. He's a really nice guy, yeah. Really really nice guy," said the "Photograph" crooner to ZM Online.

He added that he already met the 31-year-old musician, "Yeah, I'd give the seal of approval with... Certain people are just nice people in the industry. So, yeah, I met him probably like a year ago - maybe a year and a half."

An insider recently told Hollywood Life that the "Out of the Woods" songstress found Harris to be a "complete gentleman - sweet, funny, and sensitive."

Another insider told the same publication that Harris was similarly smitten by the "Styles" hit maker.

"Taylor is exactly what Calvin needs in a girlfriend. She's a wholesome, big-hearted southern belle who will do anything for her man, and that's really what he likes in a woman," the insider reportedly said.

However, there might be a catch because Taylor Swift's boyfriend Calvin Harris allegedly doesn't want to have a song written about him.

"It was the white elephant in the room, but it's been on his mind, so he confronted her about it last week, telling her he doesn't want her to do that to him," said one insider to Ok! magazine.

"[Calvin] doesn't want to join the ranks of Swift refugee boyfriends who've been humiliated by one of her revenge songs," added the source.

While some might believe that Calvin Harris doesn't want to ruin his reputation, the DJ reportedly believes that his lady love can channel her talent to more worthwhile things.

"He thinks she's an incredible musician who should use her intellect and channel positive energy into her songwriting, versus mundane lyrics about boys," said the same insider to the magazine.
