British supermodel Cara Delevingne is rumored to be part of the next "Fifty Shades of Grey" cast. Apparently, Kendall Jenner's bff caught the eye of writer E.L James after she showed off her acting prowess in movie "Pan."

According to a report from The Daily Star, the 22-year-old "Paper Towns" lead actress is set to join the movie sequel of the romantic movie "Fifty Shades of Grey" alongside pals Dakota Johnson and Rita Ora.

The report said that Kendall Jenner's bff is rumored to be playing a raunchy role opposite Jamie Dornan.

The report also added that Cara Delevingne has caught the attention of book writer E.L James after "Fifty Shades of Grey" director Sam Taylor-Johnson dropped out of the film's sequel, Capital FM said.

An insider said, "Cara is wowing in her performance in Pan with Hugh Jackman, and E.L. James loves the idea of her as a name being in the next movie."

It seemed like Kendall Jenner's bff and known H&M model has no way to go but up when it comes to her acting career. Last year, Cara Delevingne bagged roles for a number of movies. She is also rumored to make her debut in the music industry with Pharell William's help.

The Penshoppe model was also lauded by critics for her acting prowess during the Toronto film festival after playing a role in the film "Face of an Angel."

Before Cara Delevingne was rumored to be joining "Fifty Shades of Grey," the model-turned-actress was also seen in movies "Pan" alongside Hugh Jackman and "Paper Towns" together with Natt Wolf.

While Cara Delevingne is carving an acting career, the Burberry model is clearly not setting aside her runway commitments as ambassador for top brands. The model, whose ex-girlfriend is "Furious 7" actress Michelle Rodriguez, continues modeling for DKNY, Topshop, Burberry, and Tom Ford.
