Who Is Michelle Keegan? Unknown Actress Named As 'Sexiest Woman'; Instagram Account Reaches All-Time High!

The name Michelle Keegan has been making the rounds off the internet as people have been wondering who she is and what made her reach the top of the world's sexiest list.

As reported previously, FHM has recently released its annual list for the sexiest women in the world and Michelle has been named number one for this year.

Fans consider her to be unknown since it has been the first time that they heard about her name. Upon research, however, they found out that Michelle is actually an actress. Playing Tina McIntyre in the longest running TV series in the world, "Coronation Street." Keegan has joined the cast last 2008 and left last 2014. After which she signed on to a new TV series by BBC called, "Ordinary Lies."

Fiance of British TV personality Mark Wright, Keegan has been engaged since the year 2013. 

Amongst the other celebrities that she beat in the sexiest list were Kate Upton, Britney Spear, Mila Kunis, Kaley Cuoco, Emma Watson, Kendall Jenner, Emilia Clarke, Sofia Vergara, Olivia Wilde, Kerry Washington and Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence was named number one last year.

Apart from FHM's sexiest list, the 27-year-old has also been named the sexiest woman in other award giving bodies, particularly the British Soap Opera Awards, which has apparently been naming her the top award for the sexiest female consecutively for five years.

An official statement from FHM has been released, as transcribed by USA Today.

"While many actors and actresses endure long, Joey Tribbiani-like struggles to the top, Manc minx Michelle Keegan hit the jackpot almost immediately," the statement read. "She attended a grand total of two auditions before finding fame and instant sex-symbolhood as Corrie's feisty Tina McIntyre ..."

Because of FHM, the actress' social media accounts have been overflowing with requests and posts of admiration, particularly her instagram account.
