Tiger Woods' Ex-Girlfriend Lindsey Vonn Talks About Positivity Days After Split As Golfer Admits Loosing Slip Over Breakup

Tiger Woods is losing sleep after breaking up with Lindsey Vonn, but the champion skiier is trying to focus on the positive rather than dwell on the negative.

In an interview with Golf Digest, Tiger Woods was asked if he's affected by the split from Lindsey Vonn.

He told reporters, "Obviously it does affect me. It is tough, there's no doubt. I'm not going to lie about that. It is tough. And on top of that, this time of year is really, really hard on me."

"This three-day window is really hard. I haven't slept. It's been -- these three days, May 3rd and through the 5th, today, is just brutal on me, and then obviously with what happened on Sunday, it just adds to it," he added.

Meanwhile, Lindsey Vonn talked to The New Potato and while she's giving advice on future female athletes, she might just as well be talking about herself after her split from Tiger Woods.

"I would tell future female athletes that I didn't get to where I am overnight. You have to love what you're doing, want to put everything you have into it, and you have to earn it day after day. Always think positive and set goals for yourself. You are in control of your strength-mentally and physically," she said.

On women's outlook in general, Lindsey Vonn has this advice, "Be positive! Don't gravitate toward the negative things but focus on the positive. Once you've mastered being positive, turn the negative into a positive. Beauty lies in the flaws. Embrace who you are and never stop loving yourself."

In her Facebook, Lindsey Vonn confirmed the split from Tiger Woods as she wrote, "After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we've created together. Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart."
