SISTAR Hyorin Used To Suffer From Biliary Atresia? "I Don't Have a Gall-Bladder Due to Frequent Surgeries"

Girl group SISTAR's member Hyorin revealed that she used to suffer from biliary atresia when she was young.

In a recent program, SISTAR's Hyorin said, "Now I have the image of a healthy and athletic idol, but when I was first born, I wasn't healthy. I was born at 4.2kg."

She continued, "I had to be put into a incubator and I got a biliary atresia. My liver wasn't making any bile."

She said, "When I was getting surgeries, my dad lied down next to me and gave me his blood throughout the whole surgery. I had to get a 10-hour surgery, but after a year, intussusception came so I had to cut my stomach open twice. Because of the frequent surgeries, I don't have a gall-bladder anymore."

Internet users commented, "She must have had such a hard time" and "Hope you're better!"
