'Allegiant' Actor Theo James Comfortable With Breaking Final Installment Into Two Films; On-Screen Girlfriend Shailene Woodley Excited To Play Tris Again

"Allegiant" actor Theo James believes that breaking up the final installment makes sense to resolve all conflicts the novels presented. Same goes for co-star and on-screen girlfriend Shailene Woodley, who is excited to play Tris above all else.

In an interview with Collider, the new face of Hugo Boss Fragrance said there were no huge changes from the books to the third movie as far as the key elements of the book are concerned.

"I think it's gonna be pretty similar. I think the luxury of this one is that we have time to tell the book over two movies so I think, if anything, it'll be the material in the book, but then added as well," he said. "There will be more stuff because we have more time to tell the story."

The main difference between Veronica Roth's novels and the movies is the introduction of The Box, which was also described by the author as the most logical solution to make it easier for the audience to deal with all the intricacies of the book.

Meanwhile, Theo James' co-star and on-screen girlfriend in "Allegiant," Shailene Woodley said that she's only just heard that the producers are breaking up the final installment into two movies.

"I am excited, but my very first thought, if I'm being honest was, 'Okay. All right. That's another year of kicking ass," Shailene Woodley said. "Another year devoted to this character.'"

"I am honored to be Tris, and it is exciting," the "Fault in Our Stars" actress added. "Divergent was a very fun film to make, and I worked with some great people."

"It is also really exciting that just after coming off promoting this one, we start filming the next one in like a month. It will be nice to get into it."

Theo James and Shailene Woodley were romantically linked while starting "Divergent" and the rumors persisted as filming for part 1 of "Allegiant" begins.
