Lindsay Lohan Almost Done With Community Service! ‘Mean Girls’ Star Focused On Avoiding Jail, Source Reveals

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly almost done with her community service. According to a report from Radar Online, a source has revealed that the "Mean Girls" star is focused on her court-mandated duties and is keen on avoiding jail time.

"Lindsay Lohan is on track to finish her court ordered community service by Thursday's deadline," an insider shared about the 27-year-old movie star.

"She has made impressive work to get it done. Every hour will count, and the prosecutor will have the final total on Wednesday night [or] Thursday morning."

"If Lindsay continues to work, she will have it finished," the insider explained.

Fans of the "Mean Girls" star hope that Lindsay Lohan's commitment to community service will save her from getting imprisoned.

"[Failure to comply] will absolutely result in jail time," the source pointed out.

According to a report from Entertainment Tonight Online, Lindsay Lohan's community service requirements were completed at Duffield Children's Center in Brooklyn, TLC Women's Center in New York, and at a Los Angeles County morgue.

Lindsay Lohan's community service was ordered by court as a result of the "Mean Girls" star's 2013 reckless driving cases.

Once done with her court-mandated services, Lindsay Lohan will also have to deal with another legal case, this time with Fox News.

USA Today reported earlier this year how the said network was slammed with a defamation lawsuit by the former Disney star and her mother, Dina Lohan.

The controversial case was filed after Fox News aired a program that featured Sean Hannity and Michelle Fields. The two discussed how Lindsay Lohan and her mother supposedly did cocaine together, which was denied by the tandem in court papers.

"Lindsay Lohan is on the way toward restoring her career and getting back on track, and something like this can be very fragile and hurtful to her," said Mark Heller, a lawyer for the Lohan family.
