Tracy Morgan's Exact Condition To Be Revealed In First Interview After Accident? '30 Rock' Actor Grateful Walmart Lawsuit Ends Amicably

Tracy Morgan will give his first interview almost one year after the tragic crash at the New Jersey Turnpike, and just a few days since settling his lawsuit with Walmart. Hopefully, the "30 Rock" actor will shed light on his condition as well.

"The interview will be the former 30 Rock star's first time back on television after being severely injured in a deadly bus crash last June," said People.

On Thursday last week, Tracy Morgan was snapped flashing the thumbs-up sign at the camera as he stepped out of the New York rehab facility. Although his condition appeared to be better, the "30 Rock" actor is still walking with an aid of a cane.

On Thursday, Tracy Morgan's lawyer, Benedict Morelli, appeared on NBC's "Today" show as a preview of the comedian's interview with Matt Lauer on Monday. The attorney said that the comedian is happy to put behind the litigation against Walmart even if he's still rehabbing for his current condition.

Although the terms of the settlement with Walmart was not disclosed, Morelli admitted that there's money involved, and it help Tracy Morgan have "a new lease on life," said the AP report.

In a statement sent to E! News, Walmart CEO Greg Foran said, "Our thoughts continue to go out to everyone that was involved in the accident."

"While we know there is nothing that can change what happened, Walmart has been committed to doing what's right to help ensure the well-being of all of those who were impacted by the accident."

It added, "We worked closely with Mr. Morelli, and we are pleased to have reached an amicable settlement that ends this litigation. We are deeply sorry that one of our trucks was involved," the statement added.

Tracy Morgan, for his part, said in a statement, "Walmart did right by me and my family and for my associates and their families. I am grateful that the case was resolved amicably."
