Jaden Smith Creates Stir By Going To Prom In Dress; Will Smith's Son Steal Spotlight From Date Amandla Stendberg?

Right after going to a prom garbed in a Batman costume, Jaden Smith went to "Hunger Games" cast Amanda Stendberg's prom in a dress and stole the spotlight in the process.

"The Karate Kid 2 actor wore a black tuxedo jacket with a white skirt, sneakers, and fingerless white gloves, while Stenberg, also 16, opted for a metallic halter dress and long braids," said Vanity Fair.

This wasn't the first time that Jaden Smith wore a dress as he has repeatedly said before that he refused to be boxed by gender by his choice of clothes.

"Hunger Games" actress Amanda Stendberg didn't seem to mind as she posted a photo on her Instagram with Jaden Smith's right arm around wrapped her shoulders. She captioned the image, "here's to highschool."

One fan commented, "Oh my gosh please please don't let that boy drag you down into "that" mess. Guard your mind."

But another found inspiration by the photograph of Jaden Smith wearing a dress to Amanda Stendberg's prom as she wrote, "I love u I feel so close to (you). I know it's stupid(.) I don't even know you but (you're) amazing and for some reason(,) give me hope for myself like Idek why you'll (probably) never (going to) see this but I guess it's me thanking (you) (because) (I'm) on the verge of ending my life but (you're) making me think that it'll be alright."

Last month, Jaden Smith went to another prom where he ditched the dress and descended as Batman-if the Dark Knight wore an all-white costume.

"His superhero suit was fully equipped with pack of abs and a pretty sweet cape. Jaden did throw on a blazer and tie on top of the costume, but we're guessing that didn't last too long," said E! News.

For those following Jaden Smith's exploits, he wore that same Batman suit to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding on May 24 last year.
