Honey Boo Boo Mom on ‘DWTS,’ TLC Denies Mama June Casting Rumors

The casting rumors have been circulating that Honey Boo Boo's mom is to appear in upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars."

Huffington Post reports that TLC has confirmed that June Shannon will not be a contestant on the dance competition.

The New York Daily News claimed the reality star is a possible contestant as ABC is interested in adding her as the new cast along with Emily Maynard and Kourtney Kardashian.

Shannon wrote on her Facebook about her family trip to Orlando, Florida as part of Universal Studio's Mardi Gras celebration, "Just left the Mardi Gras celebration at Universal Studio in FL. Our tour guide Jesse was awesome we had a BLAST today!!! Thanks to all the other employees for their kindness & generosity as well! And it was great seeing some of our fans there hope y'all had as fun as we did!"

Mama June recently lost over 100 pounds and happy with her new look. ""I have lost 115 pounds, but that's because I'm on the go. We love fried food, but I lost that weight because I'm more active doing things," she told HuffPost Celebrity.

The official new cast of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" will be announced on Tuesday, February 26 on "Good Morning America."
