Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are reportedly finally giving up on their marriage. According to a report from Life and Style magazine, a source revealed the alleged real reason why the former couple are finalizing their divorce.

"Lamar had really cut back [using drugs] because he wanted to reconcile with Khloé so badly... [but] Lamar has fallen off the rails again," an insider claimed.

Upon reconciling, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were even allegedly about to revive their series "Khloe and Lamar." However, the 30-year-old reality star changed her mind about everything after learning about the former NBA star's continued substance abuse.

"Now Khloé's kicking herself for falling for his bulls--- lies," said the insider.

"She knows she is totally in love with a drug addict but she's now realizing it's time to move on and divorce him."

Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom filed for divorce in 2013, but rumors have been circulating about how the estranged couple still want to give their marriage another chance.

TMZ even reported how Lamar Odom responded after being asked if it were still possible for him and Khloe Kardashian to reconcile.

"Of course," he said. "[Khloe is] still my girl. That's my wife."

According to a report from Hollywood Life, Khloe Kardashian was even wooed by Lamar Odom last Mother's Day.

"Lamar sent Khloe an elaborate Mother's Day gift: He sent her an oversized, brown teddy bear that resembled Ted from the movie," an insider shared.

The two have long been struggling to conceive a child, so Lamar Odom's gesture somewhat meant that anything is still possible for the estranged couple.

"The bear was holding 7-dozen red roses, a tribute to the number he used to wear in the NBA. There was a small card inside and he wrote 'To the world's best future mom, Happy Mother's Day. I Love You. LO.'"

"He even signed his initials in cursive to resemble the L.O. tattoo she has on her hand," the source added.
