Other Actresses Better Suited To Play 'Wonder Woman' Over Gal Gadot? Character's Concept Art For 'Batman V Superman' All Set For Battle

The criticisms surrounding the casting of "Wonder Woman," whose concept art for "Batman V Superman" was released recently, continue to hound Gal Gadot with one website running an article of five actresses who would have made a better Amazon princess.

An article from Movie Pilot suggested Gina Carano, Morena Baccarin, Jaimie Alexander, Gemma Arterton and Jessica Biel as better than Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman."

Gina Carano, incidentally, is the ex of Henry Cavill who's starring in "Batman V Superman" where the character of Wonder Woman will be introduced.

Speaking about Gina Carano, the article said, "She is without the slightest doubt the perfect face, perfect stature, and ultimately the perfect Wonder Woman. In addition, she is a former mixed-martial artists...She knows what Wonder Woman has to do!"

About the Brazilian beauty Morena Baccarin, Movie Pilot said, "Morena's determination and devotion to acting has allowed her to take on performances few women dare to do. She has the looks to to pull off the Amazonian Wonder Woman, and has amazing acting abilities."

Even Jessica Biel, whose looks don't scream "Amazon princess," was placed above Gal Gadot as "Wonder Woman" because of her "acting experience."

Last week, Umberto Gonzales posted on Instagram Heroic Hollywood, a promo art of "Fast & the Furious 7" star Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman holding a sword and shield.

In an interview with Robot Underdog, Gal Gadot said that she makes sure to be physically fit even if she doesn't seem the prototypical strong Amazon woman.

"I just keep active-everything that's challenging me, everything that I feel like doing. It's not like I'm only TRX or Pilates. I do sports. I do cardio, but I don't like it as much. I'd rather do weights," she said. "I try to eat healthy, but sometimes though, I eat cheeseburgers. That's good for the soul. I make sure to balance everything out. I drink tons of water."

Gal Gadot will have a chance to prove her critics wrong as she wears the classic costume in "Wonder Woman." IGN reported that the film will start production "at the end of this year for a June 23, 2017 release date."
