'Scandal' Season 5 Spoilers & News: Jake Ballard's Life In Danger As Lead Cast Kerry Washington Feuds With Scott Foley?

If the rumors are true, Shonda Rhimes finds herself between a rock and a hard place as Kerry Washington and Scott Foley's alleged feud has come to a head with the actress asking the showrunner to kill off Jake Ballard in "Scandal" season 5.

According to the latest news from Star tabloid, per Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Kerry Washington allegedly doesn't want to work with Scott Foley anymore.

Despite their alleged feud, Kerry Washington's character Olivia and Scott Foley's character Jake are lovers in "Scandal" season 5.

"Sources say Kerry Washington's tense relationship with on-screen boyfriend Scott Foley is what got his character riddled with stab wounds on the season finale," and insider shared the news to Star.

"While Scott has assured fans that he will be back next season, he also has hinted that Shonda Rhimes said the end is near."

What was the cause of Kerry Washington and Scott Foley's feud?

The source explained, "Kerry is a very take-charge gal, but Scott is a veteran actor with his own opinions, and many of them rubbed Kerry the wrong way. Scott knows that Kerry is tight with Shonda, so he sees the writing on the wall. He wouldn't be surprised if he got killed off early this fall."

Jake Ballard has been "killed off" before back in April when he was stabbed multiple times.

On his Twitter account, Scott Foley seemed to hint that he's leaving the series as he wrote, "So, there it is. Thank you Twitter for tonight and all of the Thursday nights. It's such an honor. #Scandal."

In a previous interview with Us Weekly, Scott Foley showed now signs of feud with Kerry Washington as he complimented the actress, "Kerry has a great sense of humor and she's always up...to be the butt of a joke as long as everyone laughs at it," he said.
