Lady Gaga Cancels Tour: Tour Manager Says Superstar Will Need Surgery, Strict Downtime [VIDEO]

Lady Gaga has cancelled the rest of her "Born This Way" tour, Live Nation reported in a statement on the superstar's website Wednesday evening.

Gaga has a labral tear in her right hip brought on by strenuous repetitive movements, according to the statement.

"She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately will force her to cancel the tour so she can heal," the press release said.

Lady Gaga came clean about the tour-ending injury in a tweet on Tuesday.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened," she wrote on Tuesday afternoon. "I've been praying it would heal."

Fans can get refunds for their tickets starting Thursday from the place where they were purchased, according to Live Nation.

Thousands of little monsters took to Gaga's website in the wake of the news.

"We're all wishing you a speedy recovery and well-earned rest!" wrote dollychops. "We love you Gaga!"

"We love you and we care about you so much," wrote candelariachristian. "Thank you for giving us an amazing show, But now, take care of yourself!"
