Katie Couric 911 Prank Calls by Late Husband?

Katie Couric is losing sleep due to odd 911 calls that are mysteriously placed from her late husband Jay Monahan's landline.

New York City police said they have been called to Couric's Manhattan home in Upper East Side due to 911 calls traced to a phone listed there.

 "It's happened like three times the last three weeks," Couric reportedly told the audience during a break in taping her talk show "Katie."

"Every day, every time at 2 a.m. on Tuesday morning. I was out of town the last time it happened and apparently it happened before when nobody was home," she said.

Couric shared with the audience she was awakened after the last call, because emergency operators returned the call, causing the phone to ring in her apartment.

Couric believe the calls are part of the pranking trend that has sent authorities also to other celebrities such as Chris Brown, Ashton Kutcher and Kim Kardashian.

Police are investigating the situation and Couric called New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly for help.
