Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom are allegedly being asked to reconcile for TV ratings. According to a report from Hollywood Life, "momager" Kris Jenner supposedly asked her daughter to spice things up for their reality series "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

"Khloe knows her storyline on the show has become stagnant because her love life is so non-existent," a source pointed out.

The lull in Khloe Kardashian's storyline has allegedly worried Kris Jenner.

"Kris has told Khloe viewers really want to see her and Lamar together, which weighs on her."

The two separated in 2013 after the former NBA star was accused of infidelity and substance abuse. Aside from Kris Jenner allegedly convincing the two to reconcile, there have been several instances wherein the estranged couple seemed ready to give their marriage another chance.

However, a source revealed that Khloe Kardashian feels that Lamar Odom is not exerting enough effort to win her back.

"His sweet, loving words about possibly reconciling really touched her, [but] she was really hoping he would step up and start putting his money where his mouth is," an insider explained.

"[Khloe Kardashian wants Lamar Odom] to really chase her, take her out, buy her gifts."

"So far, he just hasn't, and that really breaks her heart," the insider said.

The 30-year-old TV personality confessed in an interview with E! how her estranged husband remains special to her.

"I will never ever not love Lamar," she admitted.

"I'm so obsessed with Lamar in a great, healthy way. He was my husband, and I wish he still was, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that."

According to a report from Hollywood Life, the youngest Kardashian sister also occasionally posts quotes on social media that seemed to hint how she is still not ready to give up her marriage.

"I thought I was moving on / Until one day / Someone asked me / "If you had one wish, what would it be? / And the first thing I thought of / Was to waste that wish on you," read Khloe Kardashian's Instagram post last May 15.
