‘Fashion Police’ News: Kathy Griffin Fires Back At Melissa Rivers; Suggests Show Should Already End

"Fashion Police" news reported how Kathy Griffin finally fired back at Melissa Rivers. According to a report from Radar Online, the redhead comedienne who replaced TV icon Joan Rivers even suggested that the hit fashion critique show of E! Network should just end.

"Fashion Police" made news late last year after Joan Rivers' untimely death, which resulted from a botched throat operation at an Upper East Side medical facility named Yorkville Endoscopy. She was 81 years old.

Kathy Griffin, the protégé of former mainstay Joan Rivers, was then tasked to fill in for the notoriously frank host.

However, the 54-year-old made "Fashion Police" news after she quit after only seven episodes. Her resignation came just after host Giuliana Rancic made comments about how Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks "probably smelled like patchouli oil or weed" during the 2015 Academy Awards.

After Kathy Griffin quit the show, the comic's opinions about "Fashion Police" made news and reached Melissa Rivers.

"She sh*t all over my mother's legacy," snapped Joan Rivers' only daughter. "I'm just gonna say it wasn't a match on a lot of levels."

Kathy Griffin then defended herself from comments made by the 47-year-old executive producer of "Fashion Police."

"Kathy feels that she was not left with any other option and to stay on the show would disgrace Joan's legacy more than leaving it ever could" a source pointed out.

"She doesn't think it was fair or professional of her to go and put Kathy on blast like that and that she was just trying to get some hype for the show."

Kathy Griffin pointed out that Melissa Rivers is aware of all the "Fashion Police" news and how many people feel that it is time to end the show.

"Melissa knows that the show is doomed," an insider said.

"Kathy thinks that she should really just respect Joan's legacy by letting it go."
