Harrison Ford Rumor: Could This Be The Return Of Han Solo? [VIDEO]

Harrison Ford is rumored to be reprising his role of Han Solo in "Star Wars Episode VII" to be directed by "Lost" creator J.J. Abrams.

Famed Latino Review entertainment news breaker El Mayimbe, told Fox news that the rumor that Harrison Ford will appear as a grey-haired Han Solo in "Star Wars Episode VII" is a "done deal."

Total Film reports Ford asked Lucas to kill off Han Solo when production started for "Empire Strikes Back." The 70-year-old actor has said he fails to see the enduring appeal of Star Wars.

Yet if this Harrison Ford rumor is true, it looks like Chewbacca's BFF will be manning the Millennium Falcon once again. And the rumor seems to have at least some basis in truth.

NBC reported back in November that in addition to Ford, George Lucas has spoken to Carrie Fisher (Princess Leia) and Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) about reprising their roles in "Star Wars VII."

Last month, a source from the film told Entertainment Weekly: "Ford is open to the idea of doing the movie and he's upbeat about it. All three of them are."

Although some may feel the Harrison Ford "Star Wars VII" rumor is a long shot at best, many die hard Han Solo fans are saying, "Never tell me the odds!"
