Stephanie March's Team Uses 'Sympathy Card' With Bobby Flay Divorce? Actress Denies Involvement In Walk Of Fame Cheater Controversy

Stephanie March is allegedly playing the "sympathy card" for whatever it's worth in her divorce battle with Bobby Flay. Meanwhile, the "Law & Order" actress denied that she was behind the "cheater" stunt during the celebrity chef's Walk of Fame ceremony.

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the skeletons are slowly coming out of Bobby Flay's closet amid the divorce rumors and Stephanie March "is beginning to look like an innocent victim of a loveless marriage."

"Of course Stephanie and her team are working the sympathy angle for all it's worth in their attempt to break the pre-nup and grab Bobby's money," the article said. "What Stephanie appears to be doing is putting negative pressure Bobby's public image until he gives in and pays up."

On June 4, Stephanie March was seen in New York City pushing her mother around in a wheelchair. But she did seem to be in good spirits during the stroll despite the bitter divorce fight with Bobby Flay, who was rumored to be the father of January Jones' son.

The cheater rumors have followed Bobby Flay to his Walk of Fame induction on June 2 when a plane flew overhead tugging along a huge banner with the word "cheater."

"Flay is going through a very messy divorce with March, so most were quick to assume the 'Law & Order: SVU' actress was behind the prank," Extra TV reported.

But Stephanie March's lawyer, Deborah Lans, denied the charge as she said in a statement, "Stephanie is absolutely not behind [this]."

Bobby Flay and Stephanie March's divorce proceedings reportedly centered on the $5,000 a month support payment for the actress, which her team deemed was too small, along with a $1 million buyout of their home.

"But March, who has made her living fake-prosecuting criminals, isn't afraid of a legal battle, and isn't about to abide by an alimony agreement that barely covers her monthly skirt-suit budget, said The Daily Beast noted.
