Emma Watson Takes Time Off From 'Beauty And The Beast' As She Supports Charity; Live-Action Gets Two Original Songs

Emma Watson took time off from filming "Beauty and the Beast" as well as her HeForShe campaign to support a charitable cause on Thursday. Meanwhile, the live-action adaptation will introduce two new songs aside from the classics.

"Emma Watson visited kids in Great Ormond Street Hospital in support of its children's charity," the Leaky Cauldron reported. "She took a break from preparing for Beauty and the Beast to pop in and give well wishes a few lucky young fans."

Emma Watson, who will play Belle in the live-action adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast," did not post anything about her good work on Instagram. And that's true to form, as the actress has never been one to promoter herself.

But Snitchseeker did shared some Instagram and Twitter photos showing Emma Watson visiting the children at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Stitch Kingdom reported that "Beauty and the Beast" live-action adaptation will get two new songs courtesy of Alan Menken.

Alan Menken said he's collaborating with Tim Rice for a solo number for Beast, played by Dan Stevens, with the title, "Forevermore," "in which Beast sings about finally knowing what love is."

Another song, "Days in the Sun" which was described "as a lullaby in which all the enchanted objects in the castle sing about remembering life before the curse."

He also said that he would have liked to include "If I Can't Love Her" from the Broadway production to the "Beauty and the Beast" live-action animation starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.

"It wouldn't work in the new production because 'the Beast's moment in the film is a much later moment - it would not be if I can't love her, it'd be I love her but - damn it - I'm letting her go - so that lyric wouldn't really work with that music," he said.
