Yandy Smith Fires Back Yet Again At Erica Mena; 'Love & Hip Hop New York' Star Lashes At Preferential Treatment Claims

Newly married Yandy Smith slammed Erica Mena during a recent interview after Shad Moss' fiancée accused her of getting preferential treatment on "Love & Hip Hop New York" owing to her friendship with the show's producer.

In an interview with NYC's Hot 97, Yandy Smith-Harris said, "I keep hearing my name mentioned and I'm not sure as to why I'm constantly mentioned -but to clarify- yes, first season I was on the production side of Love and Hip Hop."

"When I decided to be a cast member, I relinquished all rights on a production side, But I don't get special treatment," she explained. "I just choose not to act an a** monkey. If I acted an A** monkey, best believe Mona Scott-Young would put up there me acting an a** monkey and would be like 'Yandy, you acted an a** monkey, but that got us some money."

Previously, Erica Mena talked to Nessa of Hot 97 where she slammed the favoritism on "Love & Hip Hop New York," specifically of Yandy Smith.

"The only person I feel like they respected throughout the whole cast and their livelihood and give consideration to is Yandy. And that's why Yandy is looked at as this flawless person," she said. But I think she worse than all of us in a sense that no one's perfect. And yet her storylines always are no matter how bad life is."

Last month, Yandy Smith already denied Erica Mena's accusation of favoritism on "Love & Hip Hop New York in an interview on Big Morning Buzz.

She said like the rest of the cast, she has no voice into what will eventually make it on air.

"I have no ends and no says on what gets edited. When I tell you I would of been like, 'Cut that out,' 'I made that ugly face,' 'Oh, my belly looks big!' "I have no say, I promise you, no say at all. I'm completely out of that role. I am 100% cast member," Yandy Smith explained.
