Presidents Day 2013 Sales; Walmart, Old Navy, Macy's. Gap, Up to 30% Off [LIST]

While Presidents Day 2013 is not usually associated with sales, Presidents Day sales and discounts can offer shopper even greater deals than any other time of the year. According to Charlie Graham, founder and CEO of shopping site: Shop It To Me, Presidents Day 2013 sales have had higher average discounts than Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

"In the case of Presidents' Day, you have a smaller percentage of items on sale, but those items on sale have a much higher discount," Graham said according to ABC News.

The reason for high discounted prices is because retailers are bringing in spring season items and are hoping to sell off their winter inventory.

"It's a good opportunity to grab some good deals for the end of season and next year," he said.

Ann Taylor: 30% off of select full-price items online with the code: SHOPCHIC

Banana Republic: Free shipping on online orders over $50 and free returns by mail or in-store. 

Best Buy: Their sales continue until Monday. Best Buy is offering 10-25% on major appliances. Some examples of sale items include the Toshiba Satellite 15.6" laptop with 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive for $349.99 with free shipping. 

Bloomingdale's: "Big Brown Bag Sale" ends on Monday and offers 20-40% off. 

Gap: 40% select in-store items and 30% off online purchases. 

Macy's:  30-50% off sterling silver, 14k gold, cultured pearls, diamonds and precious stones. Buy two bras and get one free from Calvin Klein, Warners, Bali. 60% off designer outerwear for him from Perry Ellis, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein and more. 50-75% off clearance shoes and boots, and other items. 

Old Navy: 15% off in-store purchases and 20% if you use your Old Navy/Gap/Banana Republic store card. "Kidtacular" sale offers 40% off kids, baby, and maternity items, sale ends on Wednesday. 

Sears: Sears offers 10-25% off online orders with codes like EXTRAPOINTS (for members) and ABELINCOLN. Until Wednesday, Sears will offer through Wednesday, $35 off orders of $300 and more with the code SNOW35, and $20 off orders of $200 and more with the code FEBRUARY20. 

Toys "R" Us: Sale of 40 deals on toys ends on Monday. Some sales include buy-one-get-one-40-percent-off on all video games that cost up to $19.99, and buy-one-get-one-50-percent-off on Play-Doh. 

Wal-Mart: Online specials including a Vizio 60" Class LED 1080 p 120Hz Smart HDTV for $998, normally $1,299.99.
