What Really Caused Dusty Rhodes' Death? Family Keeps Mum As Speculations Arise!

News about Dusty Rhodes' death has been making the rounds on the internet as the former wrestler has been reported to have died at 69.

As reported by The Huffington Post, the former professional wrestler's real name is Virgil Runnels. WWE reportedly released the news themselves. However, the cause of death and where Rhodes passed away was not mentioned by the spokesperson. According to the source, the spokesperson was instructed by Runnels' family to not divulge those information to the public.

This has lead to numerous speculations about his death. Some fans are convinced that the cause of his death might not have been due to a normal health problem brought about by age. They say that considering he is only 69, the former wrestler's death was probably caused by something more bizarre. As to what it might be, fans are only left to speculate.

Meanwhile Dusty Rhodes' death is being mourned by his colleagues, including WWE broadcaster, Jim Ross, who according to the source cited above, spoke with them over the phone and expressed his grief.

"He was arguably the most charismatic performer of all time," said Ross. "His amazing unique verbal styling will never be duplicated or exceeded. He was exactly what he portrayed on TV: A blue-collar, common man, who rose from being son of farmer to being a part of American pop culture, whose memory will live forever. Therefore, for many he was truly the American dream."

Aside from Ross, there were other WWE personalities who went public about their sentiments.

"Much love to your family and more respect than can ever be measured," Ric Flair tweeted. "Love you Dream."

"Saddened to hear the passing of Dusty Rhodes," Paul Levesque, a.k.a. "Triple H" tweeted. "Legend, teacher, mentor, friend...Love you Dream."

Aside from his colleagues, fans all over the world are also mourning Dusty Rhodes' death.
