Newlyweds Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were recently seen in New York City as they go vintage shopping in what seemed to be a continuation of their honeymoon. The "Twilight" actress, meanwhile, has repeatedly called "The Vampire Diaries" actor as "My Human," which is now being claimed as her term of endearment for him.
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed have been to a lot of places all over the world for their honeymoon and the couple continue to celebrate their union as were spotted at the vintage shop What Goes Around Comes Around in New York City.
According to a source from People Magazine, Ian Somerhalder wanted to surprise his new wife with a gift from the vintage store.
The insider said that "The Anomaly" actor gave the "Twilight" star her first ever vintage Chanel bag.
"He bought her a rare, black, gold-chained, quilted, vintage Chanel camera bag," the source said. "It's her dream bag."
"They had fun looking through all the other vintage pieces in the store and bought a great selection of stuff to take home," the source added.
Meanwhile, Nikki Reed took to Twitter to express her term of endearment for her husband Ian Somerhalder, International Business Times said in their report.
MTV added how Nikki Reed used this term to describe "The Vampire Diaries" actor in her social media posts.
"I love this human. My human," she said in an Instagram photo of her together with Ian Somerhalder.
A month ago, Nikki Reed also posted a photo of their honeymoon that was taken at the beach. She captioned the image, "Salty ... sandy ... sticky ... sunburned. The best. I love this human. My human."
Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed celebrated their wedding two months ago after a brief romance that begun last year.
"The Vampire Diaries" actor broke up with longtime girlfriend Nina Dobrev in 2013 before finally tying the knot with the "Twilight" star.
For her part, Nina Dobrev recently said in an interview that she is "happy" with her ex-boyfriend's union with Nikki Reed.
