Ariana Grande In No Hurry To Begin Dating? 'Problem' Singer Relates Girl Power With Opposition To Being Called Big Sean's Ex

Ariana Grande is not rushing to begin dating once again after her split with Big Sean, and she also called out the media for always linking her with another man as if her identity depends on it.

In a long essay which she posted on Instagram, and also on Facebook and Twitter as well, the "Problem" singer described herself as having come from a long line of feminists.

"I meant what I said about not being Sean's ex is that I am tired of living in a world where women are mostly referred to as a man's past, present or future property or possession," she writes. "I do not belong to anyone but myself and neither do you."

Ariana Grande also slammed the double standards in mass media where if a woman talks about sex openly she is called a slut, while if a man raps about "b**ches" and "ho*s" he is regaled as a "boss."

"I want people reading this to know that they are MORE THAN enough on their own. I want the media to please help me with this!!!!!! Please support each other," she added. "I'm saying this after literally 8 years of feeling like I had to have a boy by my side. After being on my own for a few months I am realizing that that's just not the case."

Ariana Grande said that the reports about her shouldn't be about who she is dating.

"I'm currently making the best music I've ever made in my life, having the best time of my life on tour with some of the greatest people I've ever known, working my ass off every single day," she wrote.

After her split from Big Sean, Ariana Grande was rumored to be dating One Direction's Niall Horan but she slammed the reports in The Sun interview.

"A girl can be friends with someone with a d**k and not hop on it," she said. "I'm tired of needing to be linked to a guy, I'm not Big Sean's ex, I'm not Niall's new possible girl. I'm Ariana Grande."
