‘Scandal’ Season 5 Spoilers: Lizzie As Chief Of Staff Spells Trouble? Guillermo Diaz Dishes Huck’s State Of Mind After That Jury Attack

Lizzie is the new chief of staff and that could mean trouble for the Olivia Pope and the rest of the Gladiators, according to the "Scandal" season 5 spoilers. Meanwhile, Guillermo Diaz shared what to expect from Huck after the jury attack.

When the new season comes along, Olivia still doesn't know Huck's betrayal.

"Things were left a little heavy at the end of Season 4, what with the truth coming out about Operation Remington and B613, Olivia and Fitz reuniting, Jake's goodbye... it was an emotional one," said Bustle. "But things were still left pretty up in the air for how Season 5 will turn out, and no doubt the show's return will bring us a whole lot of new drama that needs to be dealt with."

Meanwhile, Guillermo Diaz dished some spoilers for "Scandal" season 5 as he told TV Guide that part of Huck wants to die, but whether he's going to be a Gladiator after the jury ambush, the actor can only say, "I don't know. I wouldn't want to tell [Olivia]."

"I think this is something they'd probably keep a secret from her for a long time, maybe forever," he added. "I would imagine if Huck does live, these two would keep it a secret and not tell anyone. I don't know how you can work with someone who has done that. I don't know if Olivia would tolerate that and allow him to stay there after that."

Joshua Malina, who plays David Rosen in the show, announced that the premiere date for "Scandal" season 5 will be in the fall.

On his Twitter account, the actor wrote, "#Scandal Season 5 will premiere on September 24, a full 24 hours after the conclusion of Yom Kippur. See you there, sin-free!"

Watch out for more "Scandal" season 5 spoilers which will be published when they come along.
