Sofia Vergara And Joe Manganiello Prepare For Destination Wedding; ‘Modern Family’ Actress Says No To Bachelorette Party
Sofia Vergara is watching her diet to make sure she looks good on her wedding gown as she prepares to tie the knot with Joe Manganiello. The "Modern Family" star, however, is skipping the traditional bachelorette party.
Speaking to E! News, she said that watching what she eats come naturally now, although she quipped that she's "very sexy in general."
"In our business, we always have to maintain. We can't just not work out for seven months and eat chocolate all day long," she said.
"I try to keep a balance because I have to look good for [her Modern Family character] Gloria and red carpets. I work out now. I used to not do it that much, but now I understand that it's something important," she added.
Meanwhile, "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that it's going to be a destination wedding when she exchanges vows with Joe Manganiello.
"I want all the people from Columbia and South America and from Europe to be able to make it to the wedding and Los Angeles is very far away from everything," she said.
As for the bachelorette party, Sofia Vergara is skipping that one owing to her Latina roots.
"In Latin America we don't do bachelorette parties. I'm not doing a bachelorette party," the "Modern Family" star said.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest at KIIS FM, Sofia Vergara admitted that it's quite difficult to set a wedding date as she and Joe Manganiello are both busy with their respective careers.
Although she didn't reveal the wedding date, Sofia Vergara claimed that it's going to be a large affair.
"I had to invite like all my family, and Joe has a lot of friends. So it became bigger and bigger and bigger," the 42-year-old actress explained.
After the wedding, Sofia Vergara doesn't expect the transition of living together as husband and wife to be difficult.
The "Modern Family" star added, "He is very easy to live with. I mean, we have no problems. I cannot believe it. I always tell him, 'This is very suspicious!'"
