Rita Ora Speaks About Split With Calvin Harris; ‘Poison’ Singer Warning Taylor Swift About Scottish DJ?
Rita Ora recently opened up about her split with Calvin Harris as news speculated that she is warning the Scottish DJ's current girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
The 24-year-old "I Will Never Let You Down" singer sat down in an interview with Marie Claire for its July 2015 issue, where Rita Ora revealed that her split from Calvin Harris because business was mixed up with their personal life.
"There was a reason why I split up with him," the "Poison" singer revealed as she said that she came to a point in her life where she feels so much musical freedom now that they have separated, US Magazine said in their report.
Rita Ora, who dated the "Summer" DJ added, "I thought he had my back and that he'd never steer me wrong."
"But then 'I Will Never Let You Down' came out, and everything started to go a bit weird. I don't know if it was because business was mixed with personal or what."
Rita Ora's hit single "I Will Never Let You Down" was composed and produced by Calvin Harris when they were still dating.
When rumors about their split broke, the Kosovo-born singer was banned from performing the hit single at the Teen Choice Awards.
Their break-up was announced by 31-year-old Calvin Harris who took to Twitter to confirm their separation.
"To address speculation-myself and Rita ended our relationship some time ago," he said. "She is a beautiful, talented woman & I wish her all the best."
After Rita Ora and Calvin Harris' split, the "Black Widow" singer began dating Tommy Hilfiger's rapper son Ricky Hil.
Meanwhile, speculations emerged that Rita Ora is throwing hints to "Shake It Off" hitmaker Taylor Swift, who is dating Calvin Harris for several months now, Entertainment Online said in their report.
The "Blame" producer and the "Blank Space" singer were recently seen in several outings together, but the singer said that they are just best friends.
"Love Me Like You Do" singer Ellie Goulding admitted that she played the role of matchmaker in the blooming romance of the two.
