Abby Lee Miller Quitting ‘Dance Moms’ Over Money? Reality Show Affecting Her Business?

If there's going to be a season six of "Dance Moms," there's a possibility that dance instructor Abby Lee Miller won't be in it.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she revealed that Lifetime Network "is a little arrears on their payment plan with me." That would have to be resolved before she would go to the negotiating table for season six of "Dance Moms."

She even hinted that the second half of "Dance Moms" season 5 would have a lot of episodes where Abby Lee Miller is not featured.

The reality star explained, "There was an altercation at one of the competitions. The producer threw me out! So I left and I didn't come back... There's about one [episode] that I just wasn't there [for]. And I thought, 'You know what? If they can do it without me, do it without me.'"

The dance instructor also claimed that the reality show is affecting her business when the truth is "it's the opposite."

"Kids left because of the crew, and stepping on their bags and pushing them out of the way and all those things. The kids on the show need to take class, need to continue training... nothing is more important to me than them being in class," she said.

Abby Lee Miller's vision for "Dance Moms" also clashes with the producers who want to focus on the drama between the mothers, instead of focusing on the talents of the kids.

"I post an Instagram, I could probably have, no lie, 500 kids here within 5 hours, on one Instagram," she said. "It's the kids that watch our show."

"So I wish that the network would realize that, and the production company would back off the moms and the swearing and the fighting and all that, and let's concentrate on the dancing."
